Create Delta <#nnn>
Step type: Simple user interface.
Step description: This step generates the <#nnn> delta run, where #nnn is the number that represents the order of the delta run. For each delta run, DTS generates the steps required for individual delta processing grouped by folder in the DTS activity tree. For more information, see the chapter DTS NZD Processing.
If the next delta processing needs to happen in the downtime, select the option Create downtime delta. Then all new delta steps will be generated in the downtime summary task in the DTS activity tree. After the downtime delta generation, the processing cannot be changed back to uptime processing. Only one delta is required in the downtime phase. In exceptional cases, if the system could not be fully set to downtime, the delta can be repeated. Here, use the step Check DB changes after last delta to ensure that no data has been changed since the last delta.
Execute the step and refresh the DTS activity tree by clicking Refresh (F5) in the toolbar.
